Happy second week of Autumn/Spring (depending on what hemisphere you are in)

This is a pretty random post. Please excuse the randomness (yes, randomness is a word - I'm pretty sure it is haha)

1. Cute chicks

2. Me with a Coca Cola glass bottle. Yep, glass. I love vintage stuff. I would class this as vintage since glass Coca Cola bottles aren't sold that much anymore. These days, it's all about plastic packaging. lol

3. Natalie Portman modelling for Miss Dior Cherie perfume

4. Me on my bed (random photo for a random post)

5. Some shoes from the Chloe Spring 2011 collection

Kia Ora

Kia ora is a Māori language greeting which has entered New Zealand English. It means literally "be well/healthy" and is translated as an informal "hi".

So, Hi everyone (:
Oh by the way, Maori is an official language of New Zealand. As well as English and Sign Language. We have 3.
I have lived in New Zealand my whole life, and it's very spacious, alot of room, but I am thinking of a change. THINKING. Not definitely planning to move just yet or anything. But I'm highly considering it. Every single day I think about NYC.
From NZ to NY. Funnily enough I found a photoshoot of New Zealand model Zippora Seven, who's made it big overseas. She's my age. She's actually been named New Zealand's Kate Moss. She's a similar height to Moss and same skin and hair colour, and many other features alike.
Zippora went to a school close to where I live. My cousin and one of my friends went to the same school as her , at the same time, so they knew her.
Note: In the last photo (with the Ksubi top and cap), she's wearing pants by Karen Walker. Karen Walker is a New Zealander (:
Has anyone been to NYC? Or live there? I've been doing alot of research, I'll hopefully know the city inside and out soon enough.
I am also interested in living in Italy or Sweden. Some areas of both those countries are very expensive, but some are quite cheap too, however those areas are far away from the big cities where all the fashion events and shopping is. But I do love the country, the mountains, nature, and all the amazing views that come along with it. Do you guys ever think of living elsewhere? Why? and where do you live at the mo? xx

Happy Twenty Eleven

Goodbye 2010. Hello 2011. New year, new challenges, new experiences, new blog posts :p

I just want to thank everyone last year who read my blog. I know I'm not a professional blogger who does posts everyday, I guess I'm not on the computer alot, but this year I would love to do more.

I was a tad addicted to Facebook last year and Tumblr, which is why I didn't blog here that much, especially later in the year. But I barely use facebook now, so this year when I'm on the net I'll try to be more on here and Tumblr - I have two:

Who wore it better???

I found a few images on mylifetime.com of celebrities (actresses, models and singers) who are wearing similar outfits, some wearing almost the exact same outfits.

1. Tell me who you think wore the Shimmer and Sparkles trend better (and why - if you can be bothered saying why haha you don't have to) :

Taylor Swift, Katy Perry or Jennifer Lopez?

2. Not only are these two ladies wearing the same dress, but the same shoes too - Christian Louboutin platforms and Leopard Lanvin dress.

Apparently Chloe wore the outfit first.

But who wore the animal print trend better?

English model Alex Curran or Chloe Sevigny?

3. Both Kate and Camilla are wearing sleeveless tops and below the knee skirts - all by Derek Lam.

Who wore Derek Lam the best?

Camilla Belle or Kate Bosworth?

Chanel. Designer. Bags. Chanel Chanel Chanel.

Karl Lagerfeld is an amazing designer, very creative, as all need to be i suppose, and so talented and just well rich too. Very, very rich, I'd assume.

The famous Chanel bags are probably where he'd get a lot, if not most, of his money from, they sell like hot cakes.

I actually do not have one, they don't really sell them in New Zealand, I did see a brown one in a designer sale outlet store however a few weeks ago. It was about $4,500. Or $2,500. Hmm don't remember now. haha.

I'm sorry for not posting in a while by the way, had many assignments and exams and been a bit addicted to Tumblr too.

Which bag is your favourite ???

Street Style...

...in France, New Zealand and U.S.A.

I personally think this lovely outfit and accessories are whimsical, enchanting, stunning, delicate . . . I could go on.

My friend.

Sasha. Vlada.

I just love street style. It's so interesting to examine all the different countries, cities even, and how each one has totally different people who act differently and dress nowhere near similar to one another. I'd love to photograph streetstyle, be the next Bill Cunningham - but a female version. :p

Fashion-y movies

A movie that has had even a small influence on anyone who has watched it, is Factory Girl . The fur coats, cropped hair do, black dresses and boots. Sienna Miller does an amazing job in the 2006 film, her accent is spot on and great performance by her.

Edie Sedgwick was a major inspiration for the film, and Andy Warhol. Both are amazing and so talented.

Street Style
Sorry I haven't posted in a while, I went on a little holiday with the family up north by the beach, and it was freezing but sunny and clear blue skies.
It is winter here and I am currently freezing. haha.
I have also had some tests and exams and assignments and been shopping, all that kind of stuff.
Just got some street style for you. All from New Zealand. Hope you like them.
